The Sports club of College of Engineering Chengannur is committed to provide a healthy sporting habit among the students forgetting their frantic academic life. It helps the students to work as a team and to develop coordination among diverse cultural & ethnic groups.The main motto of CEC sports club is to encourage the competitive spirit, infuse discipline & instills the value system in each and every CECians. The CEC sports club plays a major role in rebuilding the vanishing talents of students by providing many recreational activities for the students, by allowing them to utilise the campus arena till 8pm and thereby promoting their active participation in various sports activities

An intra-IHRD tournament.
CAMPION is the Annual Intra-IHRD Football (Fives) Tournament conducted by College of Engineering Chengannur (CEC). Every year CAMPION is held at CEC with participation from all the 9 IHRD Engineering Colleges in Kerala. Started in the year 2005 , Campion is the biggest sporting event of IHRD . Now its the time for the fourteenth Campion. Thats all about the history. But for us CECians its ” MORE THAN A GAME “.
